Flooding occurred throughout Braintree in March, 2010 as over 9 inches of rain fell over a period of a few days. The Monatiquot and Farm Rivers overflowed their banks, flooding residents, business and major intersections such as the Union Street rotary and the Hancock / Washington Street intersection.
